These two beautiful felines belong to a woman named Shirley I met at a book signing. Here's what she had to say about her cats:
"Like you, my allergist said I should never have a cat. My family had always had dogs and I didn't think I even liked cats. Emma changed all of that about 2 1/2 years ago when she adopted us and moved right into our house. She was a Calico and a very independent girl. We loved her dearly. She had to be put to sleep in Feb. after a blood clot lodged in her hindquarters. One of the things she taught us was how much we loved cats! We missed her so much that we started looking for a new cat and ended up with a brother and sister that we adopted from the SPCA. Sissy is the shorthair, dilute Calico and Brother is the white/buff medium hair one. Their names are actually Jasmine and Brantley (we thought he was too pretty to have an ordinary name :) !). They keep us very entertained!"
